work: (817) 478-8284 ext. 145
Kim Herron serves as the Minister to Families of Preschoolers and Children.  Her degree in education is from Texas A&M University and she has a M.Ed. in Reading from the University of North Texas.  Kim has a daughter, Haley who is married to Shad.  They are parents to Abby and Cooper.  Her son, Heath and his wife, Amanda are parents to Hadley and HUTCH.  Kim’s favorite title is “Honey” which is her grandmother name.

She has taught in elementary schools in Frisco and Lewisville and is currently a reading specialist in Crowley ISD.  She has been a private Christian school Principal and has directed two different preschool programs and has also done some consulting. For fourteen years Kim was on staff at Wedgwood Baptist Church in Fort Worth as Discovery School Director and then as Minister of Childhood Education.

Her passion is to work with children and those who work with children.  She feels strongly that children need to be made to feel important and loved and be able to see the love of Jesus lived out by those who work with them.   She desires to have a safe, organized and happy preschool and children’s ministry as the whole ministry team works together empowering and demonstrating God's love to each other and the precious little ones and families that God brings to us to love. Kim strongly believes the truths focused in Proverbs 3:5-6 and Jeremiah 29:11 and is seeking to live by God’s sufficient grace.
